Instructions to import bookmarks
Internet Explorer
In Internet Explorer, click "File," and then click "Import and Export". Select "Export to a file," and then click "Next".
Click to select the "Favorites," check box, and then click "Next".
Select the Favorites folder that you want to export. If you want to export all Favorites, select the top level Favorites folder. Otherwise, select the individual folder that you want to export.
Click "Next".
"Note" By default, Internet Explorer creates a Bookmark.htm file in your Documents folder. If you want to use a name other than Bookmark.htm, or if you want to store the exported Favorites in a folder other than the Documents folder, specify the new file and folder name.
Click "Next".
"Note" If you already have a file that has the same name, Internet Explorer asks you to replace it. Click Yes to replace the file. Click No to provide a new file name.
Click "Export"
Click "Finish"
Mozilla Firefox
Click the Bookmarks menu and select "Show All Bookmarks" to open the Library window.
From the toolbar on the Library window, click Import and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML....
In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work.
Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
Close the Library window.
Google Chrome
Click the wrench icon
on the browser toolbar..
Select "Bookmark manager".
Click the "Organize" menu in the manager.
Select "Export bookmarks."
Choose a location where you want your exported file to be saved, then click "Save".
Opera
Go to Settings (File for Mac) > Import and export > Export bookmarks as HTML
Choose the file name, and click "Save".
Safari
Launch Safari. Make sure your menu bar is activated by clicking on the setting menu wheel on the top right of Safari, then select the second option to "Show Menu Bar" if it is not already shown.
Select File, Export Bookmarks.
In the Save dialog window that opens, select a target location for the Safari Bookmarks.html file, and then click the "Save" button.
